The Land of Spring: Trend Report

10:47 PM

It wasn't until I started blogging that I learned to appreciate spring and all it has to offer. Raise your hand if you actually enjoy the stuffy noses, headaches and congestion. No.... no one... makes sense. With spring comes a sense of style. As we have seen last year, spring trends spanned from t-shirt dresses, one- shoulder tops, loads of yellow, roomy denim and an interesting obsession with the military color green. The spring of 2014 offered styles such as pastels, bomber jackets, mesh, cute little skirts and collarless coats. Some trends stay while others leave. Let's see what new trends have walked into our life, shall we?

First, let's go through some cute in-style pieces. I often notice that the 70's style is rolling back in with One-piece bathing suits, off-the-shoulder tops and dresses, lace-up sandals, Jean shorts/cut-offs, white sneakers and high-wasted shorts. The typical floral and pastel colors are everything! Choker necklaces are definitely still in play, though I can't particularly rock the trend, other girls can. It seems that plants and foods are all throughout our closets. From cactus to pineapples, from palm trees to coffee; who could ever go wrong? This trend can truly work if you do your pairing right. Style is key, my friend.
